On the 6th of December we Finns celebrate our independence. It could be said that it is a miracle that we are an independent country. Our grandparents had to fight for it and the enemy was much bigger and stronger.
My grandpa was only 17 when he had to go to war. His life changed because of what he had to see and do.
My grandpa inspired today's prayer request. He not only fought, but before that, he had to leave his home like many other Finns too.
