I got a gift!

It's not my birthday but I still got a gift from my mom and dad. Lucky me! Guess what was in it! A sewing machine! Yay!

I'm not super good in sewing but now I have a chance to learn more and BE CREATIVE! I'm going to start by making curtains to our kitchen.

Easy Ice Lanterns

I made these super easy ice lanterns, or ice bowls, whatever you want to call them. 

All you need is balloons, water and a freezer(or just freezing weather). If you let them freeze naturally, meaning outside, the ice will be more transparent.

A Small Magazine Bowl Project

The World Wide Web seems to be filled with magazine paper bowls made by craft enthusiasts. I wanted to try too. 

If you want to make your own, you can find instructions HERE. 

I decided to paint my bowl white, because I like simplicity. If you want to paint yours, I'd recommend spray painting, because at least I managed to make small bubbles with "normal" paint.
