What is Lovely Letters?
Originally founded by Esther JuLee, Lovely Letters is a Snail Mail and Gift Exchange program focused on building new friendships by sending lovely letters and packages all across the globe, one new friend at a time. This is a program that promotes encouragement, collaboration, friendship, and growth as individuals and as a blogging community. The program’s goal is to help you make new friends you would have never connected with otherwise and to connect bloggers from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures so as to learn from one another.
In short, we are a community of bloggers who love connecting through the love of sending and receiving snail mail. We believe that letter writing is a dying but wonderful skill to possess and should be practiced often. I hope this serves as an introduction for possibly making a life long snail mail pal!
How do I participate?
▷ Click here to sign-up for the January 2016 Snail Mail exchange ― remember sign ups will be open from the 1st thru the 5th and will close at midnight PST.
▷ Pen Pal Pairings: On the 6th of January, you will receive an email letting you know who you have been paired with. Thereafter, you will spend the following weeks getting to know your partner through blog stalking, social media, Skype, or however you like!
▷ Connect with Your Partner: After receiving your pen pal’s contact information, you will have 2 days to connect with your partner. If your partner does not contact you or respond within 2 days of being paired please email Claudia so we can attempt to pair you with someone on the waiting list. Bear in mind that communication is key and is essential in establishing a fun-filled pen pal relationship!

▷ Mail Your Lovely Letter Parcel: Your Lovely Letter parcel must be mailed via certified mail no later than the 25th of the month. Please note that because we want this program to be affordable and enjoyable for all participants there is a $7 limit.
